Lithos Bugna

Soft horizontal engraving meets and is staggered with vertical grooves, creating Bugna, a model of marble textured tiles that conveys chiaroscuro patterns and effects across the entire surface. An evocation of the ancient art of rustication (‘bugnato’ in Italian), used to embellish the façades of buildings especially during the Renaissance period.

About Lithos
Lithos Design Company works only with natural stone, and in particular with limestones, sandstones and marbles, and does not use agglomerates and manufactured or synthetic stones.
