GNT European Chestnut is a solid hardwood flooring crafted in Italy with a naturally warm and expressive character. Its pale sapwood is clearly distinguished from the yellowish-brown heartwood, which bears a subtle resemblance to oak. Younger Chestnut tends to display a straighter grain, while older trees can develop distinctive spiral grain patterns that bring greater movement and individuality to the wood. Naturally beautiful, European Chestnut develops an increasingly rich character as it ages.
